Color Portfolio
Many of the images that move me the most deeply, be they portraits, nature scenes, street scenes, landscapes or still lives, are in this gallery. Generally, all of my images are "found" images that I have come across in my travels or daily life (this means that I don't construct my images, pose them artificially, or create composites). However, I do enhance them through selective editing and post-production to bring out the color, lighting, contrast and other visual aspects that made the image compelling to me when I first pictured it.
Color and light are extremely important to my eye, and these images appeal to me because of the way the light, form and color interplay to create a vibrant sense of place and of a moment in time. Each of these moments was memorable and precious to me, and the images evoke many deep emotions for me. I hope they have a similar effect upon each of you. Enjoy!
